My Story
Camp gives teens a chance to just be a child with no fear and worries. I continue to pour my time into this is because of the amazing growth I see in all of the teens who participate.
I grew up in a typical middle-America family, with two amazing parents, and a family around me who cared for me. I had family vacations, always had a hot meal and a roof over my head. I had a bedroom with my own bed and a closet full of my clothes.
Many teens in our program didn’t always have or still don’t have this kind of security in their life. Our camp helps show these teens a sense of security. One week can help change the trajectory of these teens lives forever.
