My Story
My favorite part of Camp is that it gives teens the opportunity to be themselves in a way they don't get to at home. They get out of the routine of everyday life and up into the amazing Colorado mountains for some good fun. No TECHNOLOGY! Just ziplining, horseback riding, archery, hatchet throwing, hiking, rock climbing, arts & crafts, and a lot of other activities that teach them to be better leaders and teammates.
I'm a 5th Generation Coloradan raised to enjoy the great Colorado outdoors. Prior to Kings Team I took groups of teens up into the mountains for a survival training course. Now I get to use these passions with the Kings Team Camp. Through camp I get the opportunity to work with kids that need this experience more than anyone.
What I’ve experienced over the years is that Kings Team camp is something that these kids look forward to every year. It’s an experience for them that is not only different but gives them the skills, beliefs, and confidence that will change their future for the better forever.
